Just arrived home in KK after a 4 hour journey via ferry & road, crossing the channel to mainland Sabah.
Muscles & joints throbbed, not to mention aches & pains from welts collected over the 2 days of intense competition.
Even with much exhaustion & to a certain extent a bad case of hangover
, we left Labuan not only with a sense of accomplishment for ourselves but, with great & fond memories of being able to meet & be with all of you who organized & competed over the weekend.
I myself can say that this has been the best & most enjoyable tournament that I have participated in. I came with the objective of having fun...& left having fulfilled my objective of having fun...& much more!
Therefore I on behalf of my team Jesselton NeXuS would like to extend a big
CONGRATULATIONS to...
...the organizers, for making the Labuan Open 2009 a success...
...to those who ran the show...Sub, Rudy, Bowtaq & many more yg aku tak ingat ingat ...
...to the Malaysian Marshals...great to have you all referee our games...
...to
ALL winners of both divisions in the tournament...especially to 3Nity, our buddies, sparring partners, & constant tournament traveling companions...Hoodlums, our fiercest sparring partners & friends running up to the tourney
...our tent neighbors, Deathstar Syndrome & PPS Troopers (beardo, we enjoyed playing against you guys...we'll for sure face each other again)...D'Mercy Kids, (who we cannot find out how to beat yet) thanks for the pellets

..& of course Lund 69 (how could I forget)...great bunch of girls you all are, & we had fun...thank God we had spare seats at our table during the opening dinner..
...& to everyone else who we met & talked to throughout the tournament
It was a pleasure & an honor to have participated in the Labuan Open with all of you!
