This year we intend to reward the best and the courageous in the "Best from Nation Award".For every nation that is represented by a team,we will be giving out an award for the best team from that country.
It will be given the due recognition in all the media coverage that we intend to get for the event.
It will be judged in the following manner:
1)Division a team has registered in. 2)Performance in that division.
eg. Even if a team from a country gets last in a higher division...it will still get the award despite the performance in other teams from the same country in a lower division.
If all the teams from that country is in the same division, the best performing one will be awarded.
*At least 5 team members must citizen,PR or have proof of residing in the said country for at least 1 year.
THESE AWARDS MAY VERY LIKELY COME WITH BONUS PRIZES FROM SPONSORS!!!
HOPE YOU GUYS LIKE THIS NEW APPROCH FOR THIS YEAR!!!!

does this mean the award would definitely goes to a D1 team, since most countries (esp MAL) has teams competing in all divisions...? *my apologies if i've misunderstood the statement...

Announcements:
We have received a protest with regard the awarding of one of the awards and are currently studying the teams closely to ensure that they fulfill the requirements of the BEST TEAM FROM NATION award.
If your team has received the award and doew not meet the requirement..kindly take the initiative to contact me to rectify the matter.
We are sorry for any inconvenienced caused as we had to go through the teams pretty quickly on Sunday evening and may have overlooked this matter.

Any team that would protest after such a great event and atmosphere are just being sour grapes!!
I reckon the the award should stand and the losers that protested should get some concrete and harden the fk up!!!
i think its matter of being just and fair... some ppl take small things VERY seriously.. different folks, different strokes.. let the committee handle this bro...

I understand....someone was kind enough to explain it to me. Paintball in Australia is not as big as it is over in Asia (not saying the quality of competition is better though ). It was explained that an award like this can go a long way in terms of sponsorship and promotion for the team, so I stand corrected and I retract my earlier statement. dV
