Technip HardHeaded will claim the 2 box....just wondering...
One of our players got a shot at his back-side harness n didnt realise it...marshall realise it later than instead
ask him to go out he give 1 for 1...is this a correct decision.anyway, overall the marshall was strict n doing good job.

wow, great offer from Paul, lolx..
everyone claiming their boxes of paint.. Grin

IMO, marshalls are just human being as any of us, a pair of eyes, ears and a brain, they are marshalling games the whole day under the freaking hot sun with mask on all the time, bear the pain from paints, and still they have themselves focus on the game to avoid giving a wrong call..

erm... I tryna mean everyone makes mistakes especially in such a condition that a person can lose their concentration easily and balls are flying fast..
yea, they get the pay while players pay to play, everyone wanna win, but it doesn't mean they have to be the slave working like a dog..

personally I have few times of such wrong call experience from marshalls but you can do nothing bcoz U'RE OUT!
their calls are final, even you're right and you argue like nobody business but so what, YOU STILL OUT and you just looks stupid blah blah blah there while ppl outside looking at you and you doesn't earn the respect doing that but the marshalls did..

maybe I'm just too young in community to voice out this but pls be fair, play your part and the marshalls will do their part..
sorry if I got anyone feels bad..

players are adviced to read & understand the rules rather than to just take what u heard in kedai kopi talks...
there's no 'unobvious hit' in PALS rules, which was adapted from the millenium series, it's still a 'playing on'... pls not to confuse urself with the USPL rules...

ok, it's the attendance thread, so let's stay that way... pls forward ur queries/doubts regarding the rules to the marshals/rules forum..

peace...  Smiley

wow..supa dupa deal ar... Grin Grin

as 4 d marshal, d only complaint i hv is the tendency of some to call for "out" b4 confirming that whether or not it is a hit. a splash maybe misinterpret as a hit. so maybe in the future, marshals shud check 1st before calling 4 "out" *unless it is so obvious and clear.

and yes, the field condition 2....seram nak dive takut tercabut lutut..huhu..  Grin Grin

hardheaded,

it is the players job to know if he is it, even if it is the pack or bottom of the shoe. even though the marshalls didnt see the break, they are their to enforce the rules not see all the breaks. if you got shot in the goggle and didnt get called out right by a ref, and stayed in that would still be a 141. so location does not matter, it is your job to ask for a paint check.

i had the same decision on me during WCA, i got a bounce in a chest and a break on the pack, asked for paint check on chest ..check check.. PLAY ON!... as i am moving another ref sees the break in the pack, 141. its the way it should be.my fault for not asking for check on pack and not just chest.

so there you go..

i though paint check is "Whole body" check?! well i suppose a ref only has a pair of eyes to see every corner for paint do forgive them!  Tongue

GETTING u called for 141 is a skill that must be learn!! its an advantage to ur team!! so if u see that harness aim at it!! else STICK TO THE BUNKERS and confirm nothing is exposed!  Grin
