MALAYSIA PAINTBALL OFFICIAL CIRCUIT 2009 - THE PSP OF MALAYSIA

The MPOC of 2009 will be heavily powered by vendors with KCHL,Pro Paintball and Napshot already committed to the cause.These three vendors will be the Platinum & Paint sponsors of the MPOC 2009.Yes..2009 will be the year that paintballs will be open to all brands in the MPOC.

KCHL will also be the Official Air Supplier.Xtion Paintball Park will again be the Co-Organiser and KSN will be the Official Venue for all events held at Xtion Paintball.

The interest of major international vendors Dye,JT,KEE ,Smart Parts,Luxe,Sup'airball & Spyder will be represented by these vendors.

The commitment of the oldest and pioneer paintball league in Malaysia will be to continue in our efforts to make paintball affordable to all in a sustainable manner.We have managed to basically maintain our registration cost and more importantly bring down the cost of paintballs in 2009 while increasing the prizemoney.

We are also very proud to be associated with the illustrous Malaysian Marshals(MMs) who will continue to ensure all teams get an equal chance in the league.Respected even by paintballers in the region,they will spearhead the integrity of the MPOC in 2009.

At the point of this posting,we await the decision of another main vendor in the country if they are in for the MPOC in 2009.

We trust that we will be better positioned to serve the sport in 2009 but we will need your support..without whom..all these will be for nothing.

THE SCHEDULE FOR MPOC 2009

1st Leg            - 10th & 11th January - Xtion Paintball KL(Confirmed)

Bonus Event     - 13/14/15th February - Labuan Open(Int)(Confirmed)

2nd Leg           - 7th & 8th March - UIAM/Xtion Paintball KL

3rd Leg            - 18th & 19th April - Xtion Paintball KL

4th Leg            - 6th & 7th June - Penang/Johor

5th & Final Leg  - 14th,15th & 16th August - Xtion Paintball KL

THE FORMAT OF PLAY

Division 1 will be playing the M7 Format with PSP or Millennium ramping allowed.

Division 2 will be playing the M5 Format with PSP or Millennium ramping allowed.(Minimum of 9 prelim games)

Division 3 will be playing the M5 Format in semi auto mode.(Minimum of 9 prelim games)

Division 4 will be playing the M5 Format with non electronic markers only.(Rentals will be provided for this division).Team may use their own equipment if they have them.(Minimum of 7 prelim games)

REGISTRATION

Division 1 - Registration RM600

Division 2 - Registration RM400

Division 3 - Registration RM300

Division 4 - Registration RM200

Player ID Card : RM45 per registered player(Per Season)

PAINTBALLS

Division 1 - Team may use the brand they wish by submitting the paint earlier to the organisers for approval.A corkage of $70 applies for each box brought .They may also buy during the tournament.

D2 / D3 /D4 - These teams will have the option of paintballs either from Pro Paintball,KCHL,Skirmish or Napshot if they are sponsors of the MPOC in 2009.Paintball prices starts from RM 175 all the way to RM 190.

No unapproved paintballs will be allowed on site.

OFFICIAL HOTEL

For all the events held at Xtion Paintball,the official hotel shall be the Pearl Int. Hotel.Standby for rates.
If they are many staying at the hotel,shuttle service for tournament days will be provided.

Sorry if I wrongly placed my question here.

I noticed in the statement above stated that....

My question is, is it means, on the tournament day, Pro Paintball, KCHL, Skirmish or Napshot will open their own booth to sell paintball and we can choose any booth to buy pallet?

just 1 question... the prizes above for D4 mention "RM2000 Worth of prizes"..... so it's not cash, is it?... winners gonna get stuff?

Yes Joe..they are gonna get markers...Spyders or other non E markers.If a winner wins more than one time...we have the prerogative of whether to give them other items that they may need for their move to Div 3 in the future.

Yanz..there will be several choices of paint for everyone to choose from come saturday.All will be sold at the same place but you will have a menu to choose from....

We are happy to announce that with the Sonix packages we are giving out...the prizes for Div have gone up....treat that as a bonus and mor eincentive to play in the MPOC Div 4..cheers!!!

i don't know where to post this, so feel free to shove it anywhere it rightfully should be 

i have a few suggestion for d mpoc commitee that maybe (maybe la) can be implement :

• house marker - wah man..i personally think the condition of the house marker for d4 is badly in need of servicing and repairing. it's a very decisive to have a working marker in the tourney. during the finals of d4, the guys from infidelz can only use 2 out 5 of their markers during the 2nd game. so it did affect the game outcome. adding a few more markers wouldn't hurt i guess. it will make the tourney run more smoothly.
• the prizes - y not make change the price for d4 into cash vouchers. the winning team can shop at any participating proshop (kchl, napshot, propaintball etc) with the allocate prizes. i think it is more useful since giving spyder sonix for the champ is useless if the team decided 2 move on to d3. so maybe with the cash voucher they can upgrade their equipments and gears of maybe buy an emarker.

that's a few of my suggestions. anyway the 4th leg is so far the best mpoc experienced for my team. the weather is kind and the referring is overall very good. keep up the gud work.

p/s : bro maybe in future legs u shud employ a bomoh hujan la. hehehehe
