Sorry, Spookie. You cannot "walk" a mechanical trigger. With an electro, the trigger on the marker activates a microswitch, which controls the solinoid, which then fires the marker. As such, the trigger pull can be very, very short and the pressure needed to pull the trigger can be adjusted to very, very light, enabling the user to pull the trigger very quickly. This allows ropes of paint to be shot, up to 27+ (personally) in semi-auto mode.
The trigger on a mechanical marker usually controls the activation of the sear, which releases the bolt, allowing the marker to fire. As such, the length of the trigger pull is much longer to allow the full activation of the sear. Also, a "stronger" trigger pull is necessary, as it takes a certain amount of pressure to enable the sear to retract enough for the bolt to be released. Back before electos, a tourney marker that had been fully customised and modified, in excellent condition, with an agitating hopper, would be lucky to reach 14bps (personally).
Hope this clears things up for you.
Cheers

Big T,thanks for your response and that cleared things up for me..very good explanation.for the past 2 months,i've been using house markers(32degrees Icon X,ever tried one?)at my local field.it's got 2 finger trigger very similar to the Kaos's and i was just curious maybe the trigger mechanism for the Kaos is different because it's impossible to walk the trigger on the Icon. So,here's another question..is it possible to change/mod the trigger to make the pull shorter and require less pressure?

To sum it up, it's like a shotgun, with one pellets per shot.

All things are possible, spookie, but without taking a marker apart to have a look, it's hard to advise what. One of my local fields is bringing in a few azodins to use as field markers, so when I have a chance I'll have a look and post up my suggestions. Cheers
